My East African Soko (myeasoko), a digital initiative of the East African Business Council (EABC) enables women and youth entrepreneurs to trade, Upskill, Profile there good & Services and most importantly keep upto date with the latest market opportunities.
My East African Soko seeks to leverage digital technologies to support the recovery, build resilience and drive future growth of Women and Youth Small and Medium Enterprise’s (SME).
Additionally, “myeasoko” aims to profile youth and women businesses and provide market opportunities to the youth and women across the East African Regions and the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
“myeasoko” has been developed with support from the International Trade Centre (ITC) through the One Trade Africa Program.
ABOUT EAST AFRICAN BUSINESS COUNCIL
The East African Business Council (EABC) is the regional apex body of Private Sector associations and corporates in the East Africa with a single purpose of driving the East African Community integration process through trade and investment. To achieve this EABC works with the public sector, East African Community (EAC) institutions, the academia, and the business community to unlock economic potential through increased physical access to markets, enhanced trade environment and improved business competitiveness.
EABC works with the major stakeholders such as the EAC Secretariat, Organs, Institutions and National Governments and provides input in policy discussion while advocating for the implementation of resolutions at the national level aimed at increasing intra-regional trade.
